About Anje
Why hello! I’m Anje [pronounced On-Ya] Haisch, Benj’s sister-in-law [hence the last name similarities].
I fell in love with weddings as I was planning my own and was shortly after presented with the opportunity to work with Benj. It was a match made in heaven. [ photographing weddings…although Benj is the raddest brother-in-law anyone could ever ask for]
I was born and raised in South Africa and moved to the States when I was 10. My first language is Afrikaans, which is a pretty unique language and also a very useless one here in America. Besides as a party trick and winning over friends.
My husband and I are the proud parents to the most adorable Labradoodle. I never thought I was a dog person, but here I am, sharing my bed with a life size teddy bear and love every second of it.
Some things I love: Jesus, spending quality time with my husband, family, and friends, traveling the world, surfing and beach walks, all kinds of food, playing in the snow, coffee, going on long drives to explore random towns, cuddling my doodle, and visiting my homeland.
When it comes to your wedding: I’m a sucker for romantics and keeping things real. My aim as a wedding photographer is to capture your day as it unfolds, with all of its emotions and all the little details. I will do my best to capture moments and not manufacture them.
Weddings are awesome but more importantly, marriage is awesome. Having been through the whole experience and now living the dream with my husband; I can appreciate the whole experience and know that photography plays a tremendous part. My hope is, to at the end of the day, deliver photos that you will be able to cherish and share for years to come with the ones you love.
