Benj, these are ridiculous. Applying your level of intimate stylized portraiture to football photographs is brilliant, and the outcome should be published. It has the over all aesthetic and edit set of a upper-crust country wedding…but it’s a bunch of beefed up football players in action…bravo. I half expected Lynch to be cutting a cake with Wilson.

imma join the ranks of the un-sports-people here who are blown away and just say this whole post had me riveted. you are so good at what you do, benj, and as a sports photographer you capture the power and emotion of these players in a pretty epic way. this was way more fun for me than watching a game :)

They all feel really intimate… probably a bad choice of words to use when talking about male athletes, but I feel close to the players and it doesn’t feel like a professional production like the NFL often is on TV. The images attach me to the players/coaches/fans in some way. You do such an amazing job!
